M/Y Gaia — blueprint, Cantiere Fratelli Benetti, Viareggio
Heritage since 1974

An Italian classic

M/Y Gaia was built in 1974 by the storied Cantiere Fratelli Benetti in Viareggio — an era when craftsmanship and timeless design came first, values we preserve to this day. Today she lies at Strandvägen in Stockholm, ready for charter, conferences and events.

The story

From Mallorca to Strandvägen

She was originally named Ana III, built to order for a Spanish businessman. For more than 30 years she was home-ported in Palma de Mallorca, cruising the Mediterranean.

In the early 2000s she was bought by Daniel Eriksson, who sailed her to Stockholm — a long passage north for an Italian classic. She has been moored at Strandvägen ever since. Today she is owned and operated by Klarvik Rederi AB.

The saloon and cabins have been carefully restored with respect for her original character. The aft deck has been fitted with heaters and a canopy so she works for dinners and meetings even in early spring and late autumn — not only during the short Swedish summer.
